One month after their beautiful wedding, Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez took the time to enjoy themselves by taking a vacation in Boracay.
On Instagram, Carla shared her and now-husband’s selfie while basking in the sun.
The actress also posted snaps of their relaxing hotel room with a private pool that can be seen from their bedroom.
But more than having the luxury to stay in a five-star hotel, Carla said her favorite part of the trip remains spending quality time with Tom.
Hence, she said in the caption, “We needed this. One of the many things to be grateful for.”
Carla and Tom tied the knot in a Catholic wedding last October 23 in Batangas, after seven years of being in a relationship.
Tom is one of the main cast members of GMA’s The World Between Us with Alden Richards and Jasmine Curtis-Smith while Carla is in To Have And To Hold with Max Collins and Rocco Nacino.
Incidentally, The World Between Us airs weeknights in GMA Telebabad right before To Have And To Hold.

Tadhana’s month-long anniversary treat to its loyal viewers continued last Saturday (November 27) with Bianca Umali and Rita Daniela headlining its latest episode dubbed “Kabayaran.”
The two-part story–which also stars Jak Roberto, Almira Muhlach, Bench Hipolito, Coleen Paz, Nico Locco, and iconic action star Jeric Raval–features Bianca and Rita playing half-sisters dealing with debts they ‘inherited’ from their late father.
After the death of her mother, Joy (Bianca) is adopted by her father Danilo (Jeric). But unlike her name, what Joy finds in the hands of her stepmom Hilda (Almira) and her half-sister Celine (Rita) are pure wrath and hatred.
When Danilo passes on, the family he leaves behind not only had to deal with the loneliness of his death, they also find themselves as Danilo’s heirs to an unexpected inheritance: his debts that have piled up.
Ever scheming, Hilda and Celine devise a way out of these financial obligations. And not surprisingly, this involves Joy. Will Joy be able to find her way out of her stepmom and half-sister’s devious plan?
