Vice Ganda was last seen on the big screen during the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) in December 2019. Is he filming new movie this year?
During the Sexy Babe segment of It’s Showtime, Vice talked about the possibility of returning to big screen, as seen on YouTube, March 11.
His loyal fans quickly responded about the big news via tweets like “Excited na kami,” “Yehey! Magbabalik na ang Unkabogable Superstar!,” and “Siguradong hit na naman ‘yan.”
The topic about his comeback movie was brought up while Vice was describing the animated movements of his co-hosts Vhong Navarro and Ogie Alcasid.
“Ang laki ng galaw niyo ha, pang big screen,” Vice told co-hosts. He added, “Porke’t nalaman niyong may meeting ako sa Star Cinema kahapon, ha! Kinakabahan na nga ako. Hindi ko alam kung handa ba ako sa mga bagay na ‘yan.”
Vice also mentioned that he’s involved in casting for his comeback movie and pointed out that Alcasid is his lucky charm.
“Nu’ng nagka-casting kami kagabi, nag-iisip kami, sabi ko, ‘Feeling ko, lucky charm ko now si Ogie Alcasid,’” he said. “Kasi kami talaga ni Vhong ‘yun, kaya sabi ko isama si Ogie kasi parang lucky charm ko.”
