41 and proud, Rhea Tan is one of the biggest names today in beauty and wellness industry. She is getting richer and richer every year yet humble. Want to be successful? Her advice is, “Be humble.”
The Beautéderm CEO still calls herself “tindera,” selling her preloved luxury bags, shoes, and clothes. Rhea doesn’t care about her status and reminds everyone she’s still that “tindera” lady.
At very young age, she taught herself how to market and sell. Look at her popular brand now, Beautéderm. This woman is a true definition of “lady boss.” She means business.
In previous interviews, the 41-year old businesswoman said, “I told myself na kukuha lang ako ng big stars to endorse my company kapag may sobra akong money at kapag kaya ko na. Don’t spend kung hindi mo naman kaya.”
Today, Beautéderm has almost 80 celebrity endorsers from Sylvia Sanchez, Korina Sanchez, Sanya Lopez, Darren Espanto, Andrea Brillantes to Maja Salvador, Bea Alonzo, Piolo Pascual, Dingdong Dantes, and Marian Rivera.
Rhea doesn’t change at all. Her staff members stay because they all agree how kind, generous, and humble she is. Tan sends her employees’ children to school as part of her scholars. Every product you buy, you get to help children’s lives.
“Some of them ay nasa college na. And they perform well sa school. Also part of helping communities, mayroon na ring ilang groups sa Ilocos kaming pinag-aaral. Thanks to God,” Tan shared.
The hardworking CEO believes her success is a gift from God. “It’s really fulfilling to help others. I’m blessed and I know my purpose is to help people. Kapag iisipin mo, ang Beautéderm ay pampaganda. But it’s more than that. You make their lives beautiful too. I hope God will continue to bless me so I can reach more.”
Beautéderm sells skin care and home products. There are branches outside the country. Products are also available at legit resellers. Rhea ended, “Be a light. Be a sunshine. Be beautiful. Stay humble. Help others. Don’t change. Benta lang nang benta.”
