How CEO Rhea Tan uses her empire to help underprivileged children

Recently renewed Piolo Pascual as her endorser for oral care products, Beautéderm CEO Rhea Tan gave an important message to loyal customers: “For every Beautéderm product you purchase, you support the vision to send underprivileged children to school.”

More than just a business, Rhea wants to serve her purpose—help children. For the businesswoman, education is important. “I want them to finish school and be successful like me.” Some of her scholars are her employees’ children and underprivileged children from Pampanga and Ilocos.

“Marami na tayong scholars. Ang iba sa kanila ay naka-graduate na,” she said. Helping is in her DNA. “The blessings come from kindness and generosity,” she added. “Prayers work. Kahit na nga maraming nagsusulputang skincare products, hindi ako nababahala dahil I know my intention is pure.”

Her empire is still celebrating its 13th anniversary with jam-packed mall tours and new endorsers to be revealed soon. To date, aside from local and regional brand ambassadors from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, Beautéderm is represented by public servants such as singer-actor Alex Castro, who is currently the Vice Governor of Bulacan; Kapamilya leading man Ejay Falcon who is Vice Governor of Oriental Mindoro; former San City 2nd District Councilor Jannah Ejercito; Councilors Kate Coseteng and Wency Lagumbay of the 3rd District of Quezon City; Attorney Kaye Revill; Councilor Janina Medina-Fariñas of the City of Vigan; Mayor Donya Tesoro of San Manuel, Tarlac; and internationally-acclaimed dramatic actor Arjo Atayde who is currently serving as Congressman of the 1st District of Quezon City.

The brand’s illustrious roster of celebrity ambassadors on the other hand boasts of a veritable who’s who and cremé dela créme of the Philippine Entertainment Industry such as legendary and critically-acclaimed actors Lorna Tolentino, Glydel Mercado, Ton Ton Guttierez, Gabby Concepcion, and Sylvia Sanchez; beauty queens turned actresses Alma Concepcion, Maricel Morales, and Rochelle Barrameda; ng pop star Darren Espanto; ABS-CBN Star Magic Artists Enchong Dee, Ria Atayde, Carlo Aquino, KitKat, and Jane Oineza; GMA-7 artists Pauleen Mendoza, Sanya Lopez, Rita Daniella, Ruru Madrid, Bianca Umali, and Cassy Legaspi; seasoned performers Dessa, Alynna Velasquez, Luke Mejares, Boobay, and Cacai Bautista; character actors Anne Feo, Jimwell Stevens, and Sherilyn Reyes-Tan; media personalities DJ Cha Cha, Jana Roxas, DJ Jai Ho, and Darla Sauler; leading man and ultimate hunk Piolo Pascual; movie queen Bea Alonzo; social media sensation Jelai Andres; veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez-Roxas; Kapuso leading man Dingdong Dantes; dramatic actress Maja Salvador; young stars Hashtag Ryle and Andrea Brillantes; and dramatic actors JC Santos and Beauty Gonzalez for BeautéHaus with GMA-7’s Primetime Queen Marian Rivera-Dantes as sole brand ambassador of Beautéderm Home.
