Award-winning filmmaker Jay Altarejos is back with new full-length movie ‘Finding Daddy Blake’ produced by Marc Cubales and Joyce Pilarsky

“Finding Daddy Blake begins my new phase in filmmaking. From now on, I am going to tell stories the way I see them in my head. And sometimes, it might not be the way we are accustomed to or want,” shared director Jay.

The controversial movie stars newbies Carlos Dala and Tommy Alejandrino. It also stars Oliver Aquino and Dexter Doria who’s very vocal about her politics.

Altarejos said in an interview with PSR, “It also signals my new approach of combining entertainment and my politics.” The progressive director is known for his social commentary movies like “Walang Kasarian Ang Digmang Bayan” and “Memories of Forgetting.”

Shot in Rizal, ‘Finding Daddy Blake’ also highlights what Daddy Blake means to society, young generation, and online world. It hits cinemas soon.
