To Have And To Hold star Max Collins was among the early birds who got the chance to watch the newest Marvel Studios movie Eternals.
The film, which features some of the biggest Hollywood A-listers like Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek, held an advance screening at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, California, which Max was able to attend.
The Eternals, an immortal alien race created by the Celestials who have secretly lived on Earth for over thousands of years, reunite to protect humanity from their evil counterparts called the Deviants.
Meanwhile, the excitement builds up in the hit GMA Telebabad series To Have And To Hold, as Max’s character Dominique wakes up after surviving a near-fatal gunshot to the head.
In To Have And To Hold, Dominique is a “successful interior designer who is smart, an alpha female, has a high sense of worth, and doesn’t like being taken for granted.”
“Iyon yung kagandahan ng being an artista basically, we get to have different experiences and play different kinds of people, so malayo yung kuwento niya sa buhay niya sa kuwento ng buhay ko and malayo din yung personality niya sa akin.
“But yung mga napulot ko sa kanya would be siguro yung confidence, the way she dresses.
“There are certain aspects that I got from her.
“But yeah, she’s very different but she’s very lovable in some ways and you won’t like her in some ways, just like me, I guess. Ganun din.
“Hindi naman ako perfect na tao.
“So ayun, those are the commonalities and differences between Dominique and I.
“Dominique is brave and confident, but at the same time, she has many flaws and is trying to find herself. I can relate to her in those aspects.
“It’s the first time I’ve ever over-prepared for a role. I embraced every part of her, the good and the bad.”
“To be honest, this is the first project that I really, really worked so hard on! Because I really wanna prove myself, lalo na nanay na ako so siyempre parang iba yung gusto kong i-achieve sa buhay ko kasi gusto kong maging proud ang anak ko sa mga ginagawa ko.”
One year old Skye is the baby boy of Max at Pancho Magno.
“And that just gives me more of a drive kumbaga to prove myself and to do better.
“So I really dug deep emotionally to play Dominique and to find the emotions needed para sa mga eksena.
“And it’s something that I’m proud of and I hope that everyone will hopefully like my performance here,” Max says with a smile.
