Ramdam na ramdam kung gaano ka-proud si Ms. Maribel Aunor sa kanyang mga anak na sina Marion at Ashley Aunor.
Ito ang makikita sa kanyang Facebook post:
“Thank you so much!!!!!! #direkdarrylyap, #senimee and #viva for giving the Aunorable Productions the big break in this blockbuster movie Maid in Malacañang. Sasabihin na naman ng lolo nila, Tatak Aunor po talaga! Haha! I can imagine their lolo and lola in heaven, MSgt. Aunor, their grandpa from Bauang La Union, a soldier, a Marcos loyalist and their grandma, Mamay Belen, a musician herself, the mentor of the one and only superstar, now our National Artist, who trained her (Ms. Nora Aunor) to sing and served as her talent scout in Tawag ng Tanghalan ,am sure how proud they are of their grandchildren (Marion & Ashley) have become to be, young promising musicians, on and off cam. Traydor na Pag ibig and Nosi Balasi (orchestral version) and the musical scoring of the entire film, created by the sisters were highly appreciated and recognized. Again, thank you so much.
“Sorry po, I am just so proud of my two bebes just sharing. Although sumasabak na rin si Marion sa pag-arte, mostly sa mga pelikula ng Vivamax, sa Maid In Malacañang ay kinanta niya ang themesong nito, ka-collab ang younger sis na si Ashley. Sila rin ni Ashley ang gumawa ng musical scoring ng pelikula.”
Lahad ni Marion, “Traydor na Pag-ibig po yung theme song na kinanta ko… Ako po ang nagsulat and si Ashley po ang nag-areglo. Tandem po kami rito with our music production duo – Aunorable Productions. Nosi Balasi naman po ipinakanta sa akin ni Direk Darryl for the trailer and maririnig din po ito sa actual movie.”
Kasama ng post na ito ni Lala (nickname ni Ms. Maribel) ang part ng interview ni Daphne Oseña-Paez sa kanyang vlog kay Direk Darryl Yap, na sumulat at nagdirek ng pelikulang Maid in Malacanang.
Dito’y nabanggit ni Direk Darryl kay Daphne kung paano niya iprinisinta sina Marion at Ashley kay Boss Vic del Rosario.
Kuwento ng kontrobersiyal na director, “Tapos, there’s only one artist in my mind that can pull it off with a very-very small amount of time. Very talented, it’s like katabi ng red blood cells niya ay musical notes.
“Sabi ko (kay Boss Vic), ang mag-score ng pelikula ko, for the first time i-score nila yung pelikula, ngayon lang sila mag-i-score ng pelikula, ang ini-score nila music nila, maybe ads, pero ngayon lang full length.
“So, sabi ko, kinakabahan ako, let’s try the Aunor sisters, Marion Aunor and Ashley Aunor, mga pamangkin ito ni Nora, tapos anak ni Lala Aunor.”
Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “Ako kasi Daphne kapag nag-o-order ng music, tumatawag ako kay Marion. Sabi ko, ‘Marion, gusto ko ng kanta na ito ang message, ito ang arrive… alam mo, nagkakaintindihan kami agad.
“So, sabi ko, sa ayaw at gusto ninyo, kayo ang mag-i-score ng Maid In Malacanang. Sabi nila, ‘Oh my God, such a huge project, baka hindi namin kaya?’ Sabi ko, ‘Naniniwala ako na kaya nyo iyan.’
“Baka hindi pa alam ng mga ibang manonood na all the dramatic scenes were Bagong Lipunan. So lahat nang naririnig ninyong dramatics, it’s all from Bagong Lipunan na in-orchestra na sobrang bagal, na ginawang chimes, ginawang violin. So, it’s all cohesive…
“So, Marion had that in mind, because people who knew President Marcos way-way back, will really struck a chord kapag ganoon. Sabi niya, ‘I want them to reminisce talaga, I want to bring them back to that day talaga.
“So they did that, kaya ang mga tao, lalo na ang matatanda, mayroon something daw na hindi nila maipaliwanag sa music, so iyon yun, iyon yun.”
Pahabol pa ni Direk “Marion is very intelligent, plus the sister Ashley is very equally talented and they did the music for only like, five days.”
Kuwento pa ni Direk Darryl sa naturang panayam ukol sa theme song na Traydor Na Pag-Ibig, “Nagulat ako na-appreciate ng mga tao na ganoon ka-horrible yung scene, pero ganoon ka-positive yung tugtog and sabi, they’re telling me that I’m a genius for the music.
“It’s not my genius, it’s not me, its Marion Aunor and Ashley Aunor. They are very keen, alongside with my editor who is Vincent Asis,” pakli pa ni Direk Darryl.
Si Marion ay graduate ng Master’s Certificate in Songwriting sa Berklee College of Music, samantalang si Ashley ay senior sa Music production sa parehong kolehiyo.
